Number Three

I thought I should write a post for each child. They are growing way too fast and my brain can not possibly remember all of the things that I never want to forget. SO, let's start with tres...Georgie.

Oh Georgie~where do I even begin? You are awesome. You are feisty. Wonder who you get that trait from? :) I love the fact that you can handle yourself. You even bit our dog...yes. YOU bit the dog. What can I say, you keep us on our toes! We love that about you!

You are very independent, but also love to be snuggled with. The best of both worlds. Your Daddy is your hero. You are a Daddy's boy.

You also love your big brother, Jack. You light up when he is around. We can't wait to see you two become best friends.

You love to play with balls, bats, golf clubs, cars, planes and all things manly. You are a true little boy in that you love to get dirty. Every once in awhile, you can get into some mischief.

I know, Georgie. Happy Meals are delicious.

You can also work an iphone like a whiz. It's one of your favorite things to play with.

I love that fact that you are golden. We call you nugget...you know, our golden boy. We love your hair and your golden skin. You keep a little tan year round. I think you are beautiful. But I'm allowed to think that. I'm your only Momma.

We can't wait to see you play sports. We think you will love playing as much as you love watching Jack.

You love to have your picture made and always say, "ccccchhhheeeeesssseee"!

Even though you are a Daddy's boy...your Momma can steal some sugar, too. You give the best hugs and kisses.

I love you Georgie!

Santa Comes to School

Santa found some time out of his busy schedule to make a visit to the kiddos school. First, Clara was delighted to greet him!

Can't you tell? :) But, I must say, it was an improvement from last year! Here's another shot of her holding his hand (while her sweet teacher held her hand). Baby steps...

Maybe next year we will try for a smile?

Jack, on the other hand, was very excited to see the jolly old fellow! His sweet teacher had him write down his top toy on a cute little letter to read. He practiced reading the letter at home the day before. It was really sweet to see him practicing what he was going to read to Santa. He asked him for a Playmobil Spy Boat with missiles. Very important five year old stuff. Thank goodness Santa has already purchased that one. Clara pulled one on Santa and asked for a princess tent? Yikes! Thank goodness trusty Wal-Greens had one...who knew?

Here is Jack reading his letter...

I am glad they didn't give his beard the old pull test. I believe this one was attached with a string?

In all seriousness, this has been such a fun Christmas season. We are really trying to treasure these moments as I know they pass to quickly. It seems like yesterday when Jack had his first Christmas...so hard to believe he is five! Well, if you ask him, almost 5 and a half. That half is very important.

No baby brothers were harmed...

While taking our Christmas card picture.
I know, I know. It looks like sissy was putting the sleeper move on sweet little peanut Charlie. Let's just call it a hug? Moving on :)

Things were going smooth...but we were missing one?

Oh there she is...she looks tickled.

There may or may not have been tickling involved to try for a smile...(note Daddy's hand in pic)

The tv may have been on as well. I promise it was a happy show...don't let their faces fool you!

Then came tears...can you guess who?

I promise. No one was hurt.

Out of the million pics we took...one will do! Thank goodness I only needed one...this Christmas card picture taking business can be quite stressful.

I'll leave you with this little guy...he is just too sweet to resist!

Ps. Maybe next year I will take a pic before the middle of December? Better late than never they say!

Maybe I have time for this now?

What can I say? It has been a very BUSY last few years. Between having babies, to sports, dance, gymnastics and pretty much anything else you can think of, I have hardly had time to blog! But, I do want to keep track of my little ones...after all, they grow too fast! Jack is five? What? It is hard to believe that he will be in big school next August! I'll save my tears for that day :)

In case you were wondering who this sweet guy is...his name is Charlie! He happens to be my fourth and almost three months old! We are thinking this is our last bambino so I am trying to make the most of these sweet and crazy times! We will talk more about Charlie in the next post. He really is such a great addition to our family!

It happened...

To my precious little girl! After almost five years of being a Mom we have had no dental accidents. Teeth issues just freak me out...ewwwww! I dread the days of my children losing their teeth. Well, on Sunday Clara took a spill on the side of our bath tub (she was not in the tub, just slipped) and smacked her front teeth on the edge. I won't forget the sound it made. ever. Fortunately, she only has a chipped front tooth. I took her to the dentist and we found out that the roots of her two front teeth are damaged, but we are hopeful they will heal and her teeth will tighten back up. If they do, he can make her tooth look like new in about three weeks! Bless her little heart...she is a tough cookie and has handled it so well!

Here she is...with her little cracked tooth!

A New Thing!

Wow! It has been a couple of years and a few kiddos more! I have been a terrible blogger...but I have decided I'd like to do this again to document everything in our busy lives. Especially the things I don't want to forget. I guess I can blame it on the trusty hormones, but lately I find myself forgetting things about our kids...so, I am going to try this again!

Life is busy with our three babes and newest one on the way. There are times I just want to lay down and go to sleep...but, most of the time things are great and lots of fun. Jack is playing and LOVING tball. His team is the Cubs and he thinks he is pretty big stuff. If I must say so myself, it has been great and there are few things that are cuter than a little boy in his baseball uniform!

Clara is a mess. She is 200 :/: girl all the way through! She loves makeup, shoes, clothes and her bowbows (hairbows)! Currently she is loving any Disney princess and asks "when can we go to Mickey's house again?" all the time. We think she loves being the only girl and can definitely handle herself! She is now taking dance one day a week and has a great time!

Little Georgie is our fireball! He is always on the go and into something. He loves to crawl into our bathroom and turn on the bathtub water...his brother and sissy did this same thing! He also loves to follow Jack around and thinks he is great...he smiles at him and watches his every move. Georgie loves to eat! His current favorites are chicken fingers, bananas, yogurt, cheese and just about anything else he has tried. I always find him trying to snack on Clara's leftovers...she is our bird of the family.

New baby is doing great and I think I felt the little squirt knocking on my tummy yesterday morning. I am about 16 weeks along and just trying to enjoy this pregnancy. We have always wanted a big family...so here it comes! We couldn't be more excited about this blessing and look forward to the days ahead!
