Can't you tell? :) But, I must say, it was an improvement from last year! Here's another shot of her holding his hand (while her sweet teacher held her hand). Baby steps...
Maybe next year we will try for a smile?
Jack, on the other hand, was very excited to see the jolly old fellow! His sweet teacher had him write down his top toy on a cute little letter to read. He practiced reading the letter at home the day before. It was really sweet to see him practicing what he was going to read to Santa. He asked him for a Playmobil Spy Boat with missiles. Very important five year old stuff. Thank goodness Santa has already purchased that one. Clara pulled one on Santa and asked for a princess tent? Yikes! Thank goodness trusty Wal-Greens had one...who knew?
Here is Jack reading his letter...
I am glad they didn't give his beard the old pull test. I believe this one was attached with a string?
In all seriousness, this has been such a fun Christmas season. We are really trying to treasure these moments as I know they pass to quickly. It seems like yesterday when Jack had his first Christmas...so hard to believe he is five! Well, if you ask him, almost 5 and a half. That half is very important.
